Job/Role in the Hospital: Nurse
History: Mizuki’s true interests lie in language and humanities. However, he decided early on that it would not raise his social status, and he had no wish to spend his days in dusty libraries with myopic old professors for company. He briefly flirted with the idea of becoming a lawyer (which would be a clean occupation that did not require touching unhygienic things), but quickly realized that the learning of laws and legal jargon would bore him to death. Medicine, he found, was a far more attractive option, despite the fact that he would have to get his hands dirty on a regular basis. Mizuki enrolled, and was accepted into medical school, and even developed a genuine interest in the field, achieving decent, but not brilliant grades in the first two years of his course. Just when all seemed to be going as he planned, his family underwent a financial crisis, and Mizuki was forced to transfer to another, less expensive degree, as his tuition was the biggest drain on his family’s resources.
Mizuki chose nursing, as at least he wouldn’t have to start from scratch. Embittered by the ordeal, Mizuki decided he would have to achieve his aspired lifestyle through more…indirect…means. Currently, he is in the process of transferring to Konomi Memorial Hospital, after having heard that many of his former associates might be working there. It is so much easier to manipulate people you had information on, after all.
